Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria for the Scientist posts:
- Scientist ‘B’: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Marine Biology, Marine Science, Oceanography, or related fields. Age limit: 35 years.
- Scientist ‘C’: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Botany (or related fields) with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Age limit: 35 years.
- Scientist ‘D’: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Limnology, Environmental Science, or related fields with required experience. Age limit: 40 years.
- Scientist ‘G’ (Director): Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Botany with extensive experience in floristic survey and research. Age limit: 50 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per government policies: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for Government servants.
